Bio
I have been a rock collector from birth, I think. At age 4, I sieved my sandbox with a tea strainer for all of the pretty rocks & filled a Velveeta cheese box. I hid rocks under the seat of the car when my family went on road trips & vacations. I still often have 1 or 2 rocks in my pocket that I picked up while walking.
I have collected and made jewelry for almost as long. From copper enameling at summer camps to macrame in the 70's, I also created and cast my wedding rings, setting stones, prong heads, and bezels in college.

I took my first art class my freshman year in college and decided then, that I wanted to be an artist when I "grew up." I took an art class every semester at Graceland University in Lamoni, IA and at The College of St Catherine in St Paul, MN. Lacking only a few credit hours to complete an art degree in addition to my Bachelors Degree in Occupational Therapy. At age 55 I started "Bejeweled By Linda," so perhaps, I've grown up at last.
I am a Wyoming resident by choice versus chance, venturing to Casper in 1992. I am drawn to the wind, the wilderness, and spaciousness; where a sunset fills the whole sky rather than being caught in glimpses between trees and buildings. Where you can see the Milky Way from horizon to horizon.
About 10 years ago, I learned the basics of traditional wire wrap from an elderly man in our local rock club the Natrona County Rock Hounds. He had Alzheimer's and sometimes words failed him but his hands never faltered. My background as an Occupational Therapist helped us transcend the barriers in communication when he lost his words. Thank you, Herb Carter, for your gentle and generous spirit, and willingness to teach your craft. Since then, I have modified and developed my own personal style. It is my passion to wrap or enhance a stone, drawing out what is already in the stone --
it's soul...
And Sometimes to accent a focal point or pattern to create one of a kind art as unique as the stone itself...

I am more than happy to do custom work. I can adjust the length of stranding and make complimentary pieces such as earrings & bracelets to match. If you need accessories for a special occasion or to match a favorite outfit, I would love to create that piece for you. If you have your own stones or beads that you want made into a custom piece, I would love to do that too. Fill out a form here and I can give you a quote!
Warranty, Repair, Replacement Policy
I strive to provide a high quality product and high quality service, if any piece fails due to workmanship rather than wear and tear or extreme conditions, I will repair it at no charge. Examples of workmanship issues would be a faulty clasp, a jump ring coming apart, or a crimp breaking and/or slipping. There is an intrinsic delicacy to stones and wire work and these pieces may not tolerate being dropped on hard surfaces or being yanked on by small children. If problems like this occur, I am happy to try and restore the piece to it's original form (a $20 minimum charge is applied). All stones and some beads are one of a kind and cannot be replaced if lost or broken, but again, I am willing to try and match approximate color and style as closely as possible to the original form depending on the availability of materials. Please send a picture to my email if possible, fees start at $20 for a basic fix and go up depending on the cost of materials needed for the repair and for the labor too.
